The purpose of this role is to reach the set sales and profitability targets and generate new, lucrative business prospects within the designated region.

This role is fixed term parental leave cover for 12 months.

About the role

Suggest appropriate products to customers to realize sales goals and sustain and increase revenue and act as the primary link between the customer and the company to guarantee the best level of service at all times.

Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their current and future needs and their buying processes,

Ensure contact with assigned customers and other significant contacts through maintain call rates and identifying and acquiring new business via relationship mapping and manage follow-ups.

Identifying areas where discounts may be needed and coordinating sales proposals, tenders / bids, contracts, and customer account management plans.

Organize and participate in sales promotions, new product launches, and events

Providing timely reports on customer sales, monitoring call patterns, sales budgets, and taking necessary corrective actions, including leveraging CRM to its maximum potential.

Ensuring the execution of appropriate account management and business development activities to maximize profitable business opportunities and implementing detailed sales promotional initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team

Providing the best service to customers by closely liaising with the Contact Centre, providing prompt and accurate information on all customer queries and issues, and owning the outcomes by signing off on the completion of customer complaints.

About you

Understanding of general economic, market and business trends

Strong motivational and persuasive skills, ability to negotiate and close the sale.

Strong planning and administration attention to detail.

Technical aptitude to learning new products and processes
