Our newest brand is 'The Alternative Dairy Co' featuring Barista designed, plant milks that have been specially crafted for Baristas.Our opportunityBased in Christchurch and reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our business in the Café channel in Christchurch, Dunedin & Invercargill.Key Accountabilities IncludeBuilding relationships, credibility & networks with Independent Cafés or other outlets where beverages are sold - initiated from current networks, event leads or cold callingBuilding region-based distributor, roaster and franchise relationshipsBeing an authority on plant milk in a Café settingPromoting the use of, and actively selling, all 'The Alternative Dairy Co' products and connect Café's to our partner distributors for supply supportManaging a given territory in a timely and efficient manner and maintain a solid customer database (CRM). This may include regional areas requiring overnight stays.Participating in Café and Coffee related trade shows, events and industry functions as requiredSkills & ExperienceA proven track record as a Café professional - Roaster/Barista/Café Manager/Territory Manager in the Café channel (essential)Strong communication and negotiation skillsKnowledge and understanding of the Café channelBe passionate about people and CafésHigh energyExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to engage and influence end-customers and distributorsExcel in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and industry bodiesA demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, be flexible and able to operate in new environmentsA willingness to travel to Dunedin, Invercargill for a week, once every 6 weeksWhat We OfferTool of trade vehicleLife insurance1pm finish every FridayA strong focus on people, health and wellness
