Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) At the centre of the electricity sector in New Zealand, Transpower's position as Transmission Owner and System Operator is unique. About the team Our collaborative Procurement Services Team works together to support commercially astute procurement of a wide range of goods and services. The team is passionate about improving capability (predominately sourcing) across Transpower through advisory services, templates, tools, and processes that make it easy for our internal customers to undertake procurement. About the opportunity As our Tender Coordinator in Wellington, you will be part of the team that takes pride in their work to source-select-secure and manage suppliers in delivery of goods and services on which Transpower relies in meeting its current and future business needs. This is achieved by establishing and maintaining supplier relationships and commercial frameworks within which our delivery groups can effectively operate. The role is central to ensuring that tenders released to the market are managed in a fair and transparent way. You will do this by informing and supporting Transpower staff (business owners and project managers) about the tender processes; from the publication of the tender using online platforms such as to the notification of successful parties. A further governance role is to ensure that the end to end process is completed with the signing of a finalised supply contract. To be considered, your CV and cover letter will demonstrate: Ability to manage complex relationships internally and externally. You have the smarts, maturity and resilience to maintain an appropriate balance between customer service and assurance/governance IT savvy with aptitude to learn new systems and applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly developed coordination skills to enable effective and proactive planning, organisation and time management Ability to multi-task and operate effectively at pace Proven ability to follow and enforce process whilst being appropriately flexible and adaptable to organisational needs Join us at Transpower Aotearoa is powered by the people who work here.
