Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity
The key purpose of the Temporary Traffic Management Lead role is to lead a high-performing team providing an excellent standard of technical and regulatory oversight of event, filming, and planned disruption activity across the Auckland Transport Operations Centre (ATOC) network.
This role calls for an outstanding people leader to manage and continually develop a team of TTM specialists to ensure optimal utilization of resources and delivery of excellent results.
This role will drive the team to continually improve, with a strong focus on innovation and customer service, achieving exceptional customer and industry outcomes.
Our TTM Lead will review and continually improve our processes ensuring a best-practice approach to all planned events activity with a strong focus on customer outcomes.
Stakeholder engagement is key to success in this position, requiring strong and collaborative relationships to be fostered with a range of stakeholders.
This role will require work outside of standard office hours to support the delivery of Auckland's largest-scale events as well as to respond to incidents and emergencies such as severe weather events.

Site Traffic Management Specialist Categories A, B, and C (or equivalent)
5+ years' of TTM (ideally event-related) experience.
Strong ability to build effective relationships at a senior level with a diverse range of stakeholders.
