Role Overview: As a Paving Labourer, your day will start early and be filled with a variety of labour-intensive tasks. You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our paving projects. The role requires someone who can handle both the early morning responsibilities and the manual tasks involved in working with concrete moulds during the day. While the work is demanding, it's also rewarding, with opportunities to learn new skills and transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities: Morning Tip Duties: Begin each day with essential tip runs, helping the team with the transportation, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment. You'll be ensuring everything is in place and ready for the day ahead. Concrete Moulding: Play a critical role in the handling, preparation, and setting of concrete moulds, working alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure high-quality results. General Labour: Provide day-to-day support for the paving team, carrying out various manual tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and clean-up. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all site safety procedures and guidelines, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to around 2:00 PM, giving you the afternoon free. Flexibility is required for occasional weekend work, based on project deadlines and demand.
