Telehandler Operator

Calling all experienced Telehandlers!
Tradestaff is currently on the lookout for health & safety conscious and diligent telehandler operators for a large project with one of our trusted clients.
This project is contributing towards the rehabilitation of Hawkes Bay post Cyclone Gabrielle.
Shift Pattern: This project will commence around the second week of October and go until the end of 2024.
You will be working night shift , 5 days on, 2 days off, 10-hour shifts.
This is subject to change dependent on job demand.
Responsibilities: Assisting in site preparation by moving earth, debris and other materials.
Moving heavy objects such as bricks, polystyrene and construction supplies.
Reading high places to lift materials and equipment.
Precisely placing materials in hard-to-reach places.
Coordinating with team members, using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations on site.
Requirements: Full class 1 license + your own vehicle (class 2 is not necessary, but highly advantageous).
WTR endorsements + telehandler ticket is necessary .
Comprehensive understanding of health & safety whilst operating heavy machinery.
Excellent communication skills between team members, project leaders + engineers.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 25+kgs on a routine basis.
