Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As a Technology Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal customers, actively managing service requests and incidents, seeing them resolved within agreed service levels.
There is lots of variety in this role to keep you on your toes. It not only covers level 1-2 support, but also administration, improving processes/materials and developing a more automated service for the future.
Relationship management is another important part of this role as the team further implements the DevOps and Agile methodology. You will be responsible for liaising across Technology and providing support up to senior management and Board level.
Some key accountabilities include: Provision of high quality, proactive and timely technical support via phone, Microsoft Teams and face to faceProvide troubleshooting for end user hardware issuesManage request and incident tickets within operational/service levelsContribute to the Support Team's documentation and continuous service improvement effortsWork closely with other technical teams to deliver a smooth support experience We are looking for an excellent communicator able to effectively communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience.
Note: Regional travel may be required to support other offices.

Strong relationship management experience and a confident communication style.The ability to communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organization.Experience in problem solving and issue management.A resilient and self-driven approach.Strong customer service skills and approach.Experience using Office 365. You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
