This pivotal role will be responsible for compiling and representing the 1-3 year Technology strategy blueprint that will shape the future of our technology landscape. You'll work closely with the Chief Technology & Digital Officer (CTDO), Technology leadership, Finance, PMO, and business units to develop, refine, and deliver comprehensive technology plans that align with our broader business strategy.As part of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), you will coordinate key deliverables across technology, ensuring alignment across all teams and stakeholders. From capital planning to operational models, your expertise will be crucial in making Sky's technology vision a reality.Key Responsibilities:Develop and represent the 2-3 year Technology Strategy Plan, ensuring alignment with business and financial strategies.Lead the creation of an integrated annual capital plan, coordinating across teams such as Product, Digital, and Architecture.Coordinate quarterly and annual planning cycles, ensuring technology, financial, and business plans are interconnected and aligned.Facilitate workshops with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to achieve consensus and alignment on technology strategies.Act as the liaison between Technology leadership, Finance, Product, and other business units to ensure successful strategy execution.Drive governance for the Technology Portfolio, ensuring smooth integration of partner capabilities and operational models into the plan.Strong background in corporate business planning and strategy development, particularly in aligning technology with business objectives.Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to senior leaders, translating complex topics into business-focused language.Experience in leading cross-functional teams, with a solid understanding of IT, digital, finance, customer operations, or product development.Skilled in facilitating complex, multi-disciplinary workshops that bring together both technical and non-technical teams to drive alignment and decision-making.Demonstrated experience in long-term and annual planning, including defining key objectives and strategy execution.Familiarity with risk management, particularly in the context of capital investment and technology developments.Preferred:Knowledge of business planning techniques and tools to support strategic alignment.Understanding of digital architectures and back-end systems.Familiarity with IT services and technology financing principles.Experience with capital financing and technology estimating methods is an advantageAt Sky, we believe in harnessing collective impact to achieve ambitious goals.
