Looking for a new role in technology in 2025?The opportunity - Te turangaAs Technology Risk & SecOps Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding TVNZ's information technology landscape by managing cyber security, technology risk, and operational resilience across all digital platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
This role is instrumental in ensuring a comprehensive security posture, advancing technology risk management practices, and maintaining effective partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external IT and security service providers.
The role will lead efforts to protect critical assets, foster a culture of risk awareness, and uphold compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements as well as implement industry best standards.To be successful in this role, we are looking for:Extensive knowledge of cyber security operations, incident response, and technology risk management across digital platforms and infrastructure.Strong familiarity with security tools, monitoring technologies, and vulnerability management techniques.Proven experience in developing and implementing DLP strategies to protect sensitive data across platforms, applications, and endpoints.Expertise in designing and managing controls to lower risks across complex technology environments.Proven experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks for diverse technology environments.
Ability to assess and prioritise risks effectively and drive remediation efforts in alignment with business objectives.Experience managing third-party providers to meet organisational standards for security and risk management.Strong contract management skills with the ability to oversee vendor performance and ensure adherence to security protocols.Effective leadership skills to drive security initiatives across diverse teams and manage complex projects.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels on security and risk matters.Experience fostering a risk-aware culture across a technology-focused organisation.Strong analytical abilities to assess and interpret complex risk scenarios, identify security trends, and provide actionable insights.Problem-solving skills to address security incidents and technology risks in a timely and effective manner.Qualifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications that reflect expertise in cybersecurity and risk management.Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
