We are seeking the expertise of a technology project manager to join our Cloud and Operations Team on a permanent basis. This role is designed to lead projects in various PM methodologies to deliver quality outcomes for internal customers. At any one time you will be leading multiple technology projects across our Data and Technology jurisdiction, taking charge of the end-to-end project, from conceptualization to execution and beyond.
This will include managing cross functional teams of employees and vendors ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. This role is designed to be the interface between the technology operations and wider D&T with our IT Outsourcing Partners and Vendors to ensure project deliverables and benefits are realised.
Mou - About you
In your project career to date you will have led successful projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and be able to switch between methodologies with ease. You will have strong vendor management skills and be able to work autonomously. Your career history will span managing multiple in house projects simultaneously with proven success.
You'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Deep understanding of infrastructure & cloud technologies, networks, and systems Solid track record of successfully managing IT infrastructure delivery projects Collaborative yet results driven working style Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Prince 2 or equivalent Excellent communication skills to translate the complex technical into plain English for non-technical stakeholders Proven experience setting up a project from the beginning and leading through to successful delivery Mo te Tukurau Aotearoa - About NZ Post
