The Funds Delivery team is responsible for overseeing elements of EECA's delivery programme that require a competitive procurement process.
We're looking for a technology demonstration senior advisor to work with businesses investigating innovative new technologies, to facilitate applications to funds managed by the Funds Delivery Team, and manage these through to contract.
The role will also provide technical support across EECA for the development of new programmes and to support EECA engagement channels, with a view to encouraging new technology demonstration and diffusion co-funding applications. The candidate will need expertise in a range of technologies relating to manufacturing, process heat, horticulture, the transport sector, and including new electrification, decarbonisation and energy efficiency technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Technical and commercial understanding across industrial, manufacturing, process heat and transport technologies.
Detailed experience reviewing funding applications.
Outstanding attention to detail with a methodical approach to work tasks.
A high level of discretion and the capability to practice diplomacy.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business issues and technologies.
Experience in government procurement and fund management processes.
The demonstrated ability to get results working with multiple stakeholders.
A proactive, resourceful and self-starting operating style with the capacity to meet deadlines.
