The Business
ADInstruments provides innovative technology solutions to facilitate research and education for organisations operating within the life science sphere. With a team of 70 in New Zealand and almost 200 globally, operating from 13 offices around the world and alongside an extensive global distribution network, we are a leader in our field.
The Team
We value diversity of all kinds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where we learn from each other. Our team prides itself on global collaboration and we're excited to introduce you to the ADInstruments culture of passionate people who love science, learning and creating world-class products.
Your Role
We are looking for a collaborative professional who can coordinate and implement technical training across various learning platforms for our staff around the world. Reporting directly to the Head of Training & Support, you will be responsible for managing the design, development and implementation of technical training initiatives, working with internal Subject Matter Experts to create new product training content, and in time helping us to establish a certification program for specific groups of staff. The technical expertise of our global Sales and Support staff is one of ADI's competitive advantages; you will play a key role in an area that is at the heart of what ADInstruments is about.
Skills and Experience
This role could suit someone from a variety of backgrounds. A qualification or experience in Life Sciences would be advantageous but a candidate who has a strong interest in Life Sciences will be considered. A background in blended learning or creating educational material is also a good starting point, or perhaps you are an L&D professional who has experience delivering technical training initiatives. Whatever your background, you will be able to demonstrate experience in planning and coordinating projects and building relationships with internal stakeholders. Detail oriented, with strong communication skills, you will enjoy working autonomously across multiple projects.
What's in it for you
This is a unique opportunity as the stand-alone Technical Training Coordinator where you will be involved across the breadth of our organisation. You will be challenged to learn as you go, improve systems and processes and apply your skills in this niche area.
At ADI you will have the opportunity to work within a flexible, hybrid working environment with the Dunedin office located in the heart of a modern cafe precinct. We are proud of our competitive remuneration strategy, and range of additional benefits including a flexible work policy, wellness initiatives, paid parental leave, and additional leave options. Our staff enjoy regular empathy sessions, happy hours, social club activities, and our annual volunteer day.
