Reporting to our Training and Development Advisor- Operations & Supply Chain, this full time, permanent role is based at our Papakura manufacturing site, working business hours with flexibility to support across other shifts required (we operate 24/5), free onsite parking and delicious snacks included! Here at Griffin's Snacks, we're proud of our heritage and are New Zealand's largest snack food company, producing many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands, including Griffin's biscuits, Huntley & Palmers Crackers, Nice & Natural bars and ETA potato chips.This role would be perfect for a rising star who is passionate about all things related to training. No day will be the same as you work to ensure that product quality, safety and work standards are met and continuously improved through on-the-job training and troubleshooting for the Papakura site.You will be responsible for delivering, coordinating and following up on training for the Supply Chain and Operations staff in line with our organizational procedures (including reviewing and updating proactively as needed in our new LMS Totara Snack IQ). This role will also play a key component in supporting IWS at the site. They will work closely with our LMS (Learning Management System) – including with supporting processes and actively contribute and collaborate on implementation of the development paths, plans and schedules.What you will be responsible for:Rolling out, implementing, and monitoring the agreed training plans.Working with the leadership team to develop, create and update SOP's, supporting implementation when needed.Supporting processes with the LMS System.Engaging with new starters by supporting with induction and onboarding processes.Liaising with wider team to ensure that all employees are trained on relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Critical Control Points and Quality Control Points.Evaluate employee knowledge and provide recommendations for other required materials to improve training.Working with a wider team to create and agree on weekly training schedules.Monitoring training hours, ensuring they are within budget and that training is signed off within an agreed timeline.What will you bring to the role?1-2 years of experience in a training role or a role which has training component (extra tick if this has been in food manufacturing).You will be LMS system savvy and will be quick at learning new processes and systems promptly.Although training will be provided, it would be great if you are a proficient user of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and basic knowledge of video/photo editing.You will be inquisitive and eager to look at opportunities for continuous improvement across training as well as implementing these improvements.Excellent communication, coaching and business partnering skills – you can tailor your approach and love being able to work with a range of people.Flexibility, resilience and agility and adaptability.Passion for sharing your knowledge with others, process and driving action.Exceptional organisation and prioritizing skills – you are great at juggling multiple balls and jumping between tasks.Self-motivation and a solutions-focused, innovative forward-thinking approach.You will need to be comfortable spending time on the factory floor engaging, coaching and following up.Strong people skills, effective and clear communication skills and positive attitude are a must.
