About the Role This is a critical role to the Bridgestone business where you will be designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance the technical capabilities of our workforce across NZ.
Travel will be a key requirement for this role, as you will be responsible for the training needs for staff from Whangarei through to the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, with the occasional trip to the South Island.
Your responsibilities will include:
Training and assessment of relevant qualifications for staff, with a specific focus on "off the road" tyresRunning, maintenance and logistics of the following programmes: inductions, technical and compliance training, workshop and fleet service, health and safety, product knowledgeCoordination and planning of regional training programmes, including the promotion of in-store "best practice" and standards, training methods and techniquesUpdating and keeping on top of all admin related tasks of the role including, developing content, updating the training database as required, supporting the planning, design and implementation of all technical programmes and initiativesConducting practical and skills knowledge assessments for individuals undertaking our technical programsTo be successful you will need: Proven previous experience physically working with "off-the-road" tyres, as well as sound technical knowledge and capabilityThe ability to complete a CERT II Australian qualification in Tyre Technology, and a Cert IV Adult Learning and AssessmentProven previous experience working within an adult education and/or training role (Ideal but not essential)Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to connect with a diverse range of people across the businessComputer literate, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office productsTo be a self-motivated and positive individual who is driven by helping people succeed and growPatience and the ability to adapt to different learning styles quicklyIn return we can offer you: A very competitive remuneration with annual bonus scheme and company carA phenomenal team culture, with unrivalled support and guidance from the Learning & Development teamExcellent company discounts, staff buying privileges, and health insurance.Ongoing support and commitment to learning and developmentDue to requirements from our training provider in Australia, we can only accept applicants who are NZ or Australian Citizens.
