Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team at our branch at 42 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland. Working hours will be 40 hours per week with paid overtime as needed. Base hourly wage at $35-$40 per hour.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly.
Serve existing accounts by analysing work orders, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
Provide service by studying system requirements, completing installation, and performing acceptance tests.
Maintain and develop customer relationships, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements, and maintaining customer confidentiality.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Inform Service Manager when the job is ready to be invoiced.
Explore sales possibilities with customers utilizing his scope of specialty and by utilizing cross departmental specialists.
Work with engineering, sales and/or other units to resolve issues/problems that may arise.
Accurately complete service documentation including having Service Reports signed by the customer or the customer's authorised representative.
Read and interpret hydraulic circuits/schematics.
Strip, assess, report, rebuild, and test hydraulic components.
Qualifications
Trade certificate qualified in Mechanical Engineering discipline or similar field.
Minimum 3 years experience in hydraulic component and mechanical repair as a technician/fitter.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to action and complete relevant reporting.
Good attention to detail.
Able to identify and comply with relevant safety requirements.
