This includes support for many of New Zealand's largest primary producers of Dairy, Vegetable and Fruit Products.They provide innovative solutions for surplus asset management.This includes the buying and selling of second-hand equipment and managing the disposal of assets to maximise the return for the assets owners.Quality process equipment from reputable sources gives them an extensive inventory, both here in New Zealand and in offshore locations, with the ability to ship Worldwide. Their Asset Management service offers companies a professional and complete service for managing surplus assets.Job Purpose:The Technical Sales Consultant - Capital Equipment will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of capital equipment (Processing & Packaging) in their allocated territory. The role will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide technical expertise. Develop territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and deployment of equipment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for capital equipment sales. Work with customers to understand their needs and provide technical expertise to recommend equipment solutions. Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of equipment. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports. Accurately manage sales opportunities and customer details within the CRM. Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and its products. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for capital equipment sales. Provide regular feedback to management and principles regarding customer needs and market trends.Requirements:5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in capital equipment sales Strong technical knowledge of technical equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
