Technical Product Manager - Applications Farmlands Co-Operative – Burnside, South Island

In this newly created position, you will play an essential role in connecting business stakeholders, solution providers and Farmlands technical teams, ensuring that Farmlands gains the highest possible value from solution investments.
Your portfolio will cover our exciting new customer facing solutions:
Web & Mobile Applications – FarmlandsPRO designed for Core Farmers & Growers & Farmlands Card App targeted at Farmlands 150,000+ card holders.
eCommerce focused on our Lifestyle Customers.
Farmlands Card – a unique offering for Farmlands Shareholders.
Responsibilities include:
Developing a deep understanding of technology solutions and their business fit and identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with technology solution vendors.
Bridging communication between technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
Facilitating understanding and alignment of solution capabilities with business needs.
Driving the adoption of new features and process enhancements.
Mohou ake | About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Experience in product management or a similar, preferably technical role, with a strong understanding of software and product development practices.
Ability to quickly and effectively establish and maintain working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Passionate about technology and its business applications.
