The Role Reporting to the General Manager, based at Head Office in Penrose, Auckland. This is a pivotal role in driving innovation, supporting the sales team, and ensuring compliance and certification of waterproofing and insulation systems. You will be responsible for managing architectural and engineering inquiries, maintaining technical literature, and providing technical support to customer across the products range. Responsibilities Manage compliance and certification processes for waterproofing and insulation systems. Handle day-to-day inquiries related to projects, including resolving complex technical issues. Build and maintain technical relationships with local and global supplier partners.Lead and develop the technical team, providing support to both the sales team and customer base. Ensure the production of industry-leading technical literature and adviceSkills & Experience Ideally qualified or experienced in Building Science, Façade Engineer combined with a background in architectural design. Strong interest and knowledge in sustainability within the built environment. Solid understanding of the New Zealand building code. Experience with thermal modelling software (e.g., Filo, Therm) and green rating tools (e.g., Greenstar, Homestar, PHPP) is preferred. Deep understanding of real-world construction requirements and on-site practicalities. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
