Purpose of Role:As a Technical Manager, you will be the key technical expert in the realm of export and regulatory compliance, with a primary focus on providing crucial technical support and direction to our Biosecurity & Field Services team.
The purpose of the Technical Manager role is to ensure that AsureQuality meets the technical and regulatory requirements of the assigned programmes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders. The Technical Manager assumes the responsibilities of the Technical Manager for the assigned programmes in accordance with the requirements of regulatory standards for the assigned programmes and of ISO17020.
Areas of Responsibility:
Technical Expertise: Maintain AsureQuality's status and integrity as an MPI Recognised Agency in respect to the performance of evaluation and verification activities for the assigned programmes.
Team Support: Provide technical advice and cover for team members during their leaves.
Process Improvement: Manage continuous improvement of KnowHow processes and Standard Operating Procedures to enhance service delivery efficiency and accuracy.
Quality Assurance: Ensure AsureQuality's internal systems and procedures are compliant, current and aligned to ensure effective delivery of regulatory and certification requirements.
Quality Checks and Audits: Perform quality checks and audits as required and in consultation with the Quality Specialist.
Customer Liaison: Act as a technical liaison with MPI, JASANZ and other customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in technical management, ideally in a regulatory framework and overseas market access requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
