It's fair to say that our exceptional people are at the heart of our success.About the roleWe are on the lookout for a highly skilled Technical Lead to take on a key technical leadership role within our Land Development team, based in our Auckland office. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead on the delivery of some of HG's biggest projects and contribute towards our vision of being the #1 urban development partner in Aotearoa. We are set for a busy 2025 and have a varied pipeline of work including residential, urban re-construction, infrastructure, and commercial developments that shape the future of our local communities.Key responsibilities:Provide technical leadership to the team across a range of complex civil engineering projects from initial concept design through to construction completion.Maintain existing client relationships and drive business development initiatives such as leveraging your existing network and identifying opportunities to enhance HG's future project prospects.Support professional development within our team of Civil Engineers and Designers through mentorship and guidance in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.Work alongside the Land Development Manager in the implementation of the region's strategic business plan including growth strategy, business development, marketing strategies and budget targets as well as demonstrating and embedding values and expected behaviours.Be a recognised urban development leader and stay up to date with industry changes or amendments.Play a key role in shaping better urban development for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.About youBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.CPeng qualified.10+ years consulting experience with a background in delivering complex land development projects.Strong client relationship management and project management skills.Proficiency with 12D or Civil 3D.Strategic thinking and the ability to articulate a clear vision through planning and execution.Successful track record managing large commercial projects and teams.Why join HG?We invest in our people.
