We help our clients achieve the right balance across the spectrum of generation through renewable energy sources, solar, wind, stored energy, hydropower and fossil fuels; and alternative energy fuels including hydrogen and electrification.Job DescriptionIn this multi-functional role, you will be a key senior member of our Transmission & Distribution team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging multi-disciplinary projects.This is a new specialist director level secondary design role in combination with integrated project management and delivery to support the growth of our NZ energy practice.What will a day in this role look like?Checking and approving secondary design and protection settings.Reviewing and providing input into bids and pursuits; actively participating in business and strategic planning activities to identify opportunities to continue the growth of the business in the short, medium and longer-term.Leading the delivery of projects and the development of leading-edge technical skills and their practical application, in ways that add value to AECOM and our clients.Mentoring team members in their development, facilitating opportunities that build competency, and assisting with professional accreditation where appropriate.Undertaking design management roles for multidisciplinary projects; ensuring integrated design through effective communication and coordination with other disciplines.The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
