As Technical Director – Protection Systems Design, you'll lead projects that enhance New Zealand's energy networks while influencing how Edison grows and operates. This role offers significant organisational exposure, allowing you to contribute to projects, processes, and team development.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of protection systems, including relay coordination, SCADA integration, and fault analysis.Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions.Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence and supporting career growth.Influence Edison's design strategy, driving process improvements and technical innovation.Represent Edison in industry forums, promoting our expertise and capabilities.About You

You're an industry leader passionate about delivering exceptional results in protection systems design and influencing team growth.

Qualifications & Experience: 15+ years in protection design for high voltage substations and transmission networks.Expertise in relay protection schemes, SCADA integration, and fault studies.Proven ability to mentor engineers and shape team strategy and processes.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) or equivalent certification.Ready to Take the Next Step?
