Technical Consultant (Storage and Backup) Hamilton Based - Full Time Opportunity (PERM) About the Role This is a full-time permanent position working largely across our Enterprise customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect - Storage & Backup to join our dynamic team.
What you'll do for us Analyse business requirements and design storage architectures that meet customer needs.Implement and manage storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.Evaluate and select storage hardware and software vendors.Stay updated on emerging storage and backup technologies and industry trends.Assess current storage capacity and plan for scalability.Optimize storage systems for performance and cost-effectiveness.What you'll bring in your Kit bag At least ten years IT industry experience.In-depth knowledge and practical experience with a variety of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage solutions.Demonstrated experience in evaluating and selecting storage hardware and software vendors based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.Hands-on experience implementing and managing data protection strategies, including backup, replication, and disaster recovery.Familiarity with compliance requirements related to data storage and security.Certifications from major storage technology vendors (e.g., EMC, NetApp, HPE) and relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
