About the role: The Transactional Banking platform is the heart of the bank providing all the cool online / real-time transactional services that power ASB. As a SAP Basis Lead, you will be supporting the SAP squads on a large migration project. Your everyday tasks include:
Responsible for the management, maintenance and support of SAP environmentsWork and collaborate with other technology teams & vendors to support the SAP landscapeLead efforts to troubleshoot and/or resolve SAP software issues, providing support to operating system and infrastructure teamsProviding the day-to-day technical support to SAP TeamsWork across functional support areas to tune SAP Applications for optimal performanceOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP systems, including installations, upgrades and configurationsManage SAP users, authorisations and profilesEstablish and maintain system configurations, performance tuning and troubleshooting proceduresEnsure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are operational and effectiveSupport and perform audits to inspect that a clean core platform is maintainedProvide thought leadership on TRBK implementation and SAP Best PracticeEnsure system performance, availability, and security through regular monitoring, tuning and troubleshootingEnsure all the SAP systems are up to date with patching and updatesProvide technical leadership to all the engineers in the SAP Basis teamSupport the CXO to meet the Team KPIs/OKRsOverall responsible for the optimal performance of the SAP ecosystemAbout you: We are looking for someone who has:Extensive experience with SAP upgrades including Support Packs and Enhancements PacksExtensive experience with SAP Performance tuningStrong knowledge of SAP System architecture, administration and securityExtensive experience managing SAP ECC systemsProficiency in managing SAP systems, including installations, upgrades, and configurationsExperience with SAP NetWeaver and SAP Solution Manager is a must and S/4HANA is a bonusKnowledge of databases such as Oracle RDBMS and SAP HANAFamiliarity with Linux/Unix operating systemsStrong troubleshooting skills to resolve system issuesExpertise in SAP security, including user management, roles and authorizationsAbility to mentor new engineers on S/4HANA and other supporting SAP systems/tools/processesProficient in agile methodologies and ability to run agile ceremoniesProven ability to deliver strong customer and business outcomes, with a can-do attitude and growth & learning mindsetAbility to navigate challenging situations & people and achieve the desired outcomesOutcomes you are responsible for: General OpsDay to day operations of the SAP Basis TeamAudits: Perform regular audits to identify deviations from standards and opportunities for improvementsRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to SAP SolutionsCompliance: Ensure all solutions comply with industry regulations and SAP best standardsPromote clean core and align solutions to TRBK OOTB features/capabilitiesTechnical/Thought LeadershipWithin the SAP focus areaGuidance and mentorship primarily to the SAP Basis teamFor SAP Basis projects, including installations, upgrades and performance tuningTRBK ImplementationSuccessful Implementation of the TRBK Platform via providing Thought and Technical Leadership to the project and ensuring that the delivered platform is also operational, effective and efficientOversee data conversion activities, ensuring Oracle to HANA migration is successful and conversion process is optimised to the best enabling to minimised downtime for go liveWorking at ASB: ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
