Auckland basedThe opportunityNewly created role to coach and mentor a team of claims specialists in liability, financial lines & cyber.Reporting to the National Claims Manager for long tail claimsWe are growing! Opportunities to develop your career in QBE.Down to earth culture in a global business!Hybrid working with only 2 days in the office & happy to talk flexible working.Your new roleYou will be the technical expert for our Financial Lines & Liability Claims. You will lead & support the team on any complex matters including referrals, interpretations and development of the team.
Aspects of your role will include:
Identify and implement strategies to minimize Claims Cost and Leakage from the day-to-day claims management.Work with the wider internal and external stakeholders to assess, respond and manage complex claims and CAT events.Support team engagement and foster a positive and united team culture.Identify and implement strategies to grow and develop people and enhance team performance.Work with other parts of the business to enhance the Long Tail team brand and achieve better outcomes through cross-training and collaboration.More information and the full job profile will be shared before the interview process.

About youFurther develop your strategic thinking and leadership skills in this technical manager role.
 You will:
