It is an exciting time to join our business as we continue along our journey of ongoing expansion, and transformation. We are currently searching for a Technical Account Manager – Dairy, to join our dynamic, industry leading Technical Sales team.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this technical sales role will allow you to nurture existing relationships, while delivering improvements through innovation and creative technical solutions. Predominately working on-the-road, most of your customers will be based in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato region, however there will be some travel to support the national team.

Key Responsibilities Deliver on contractual commitments to customersProvide responsive account management and customer servicePrepare and execute customer service plans to improve profitability and satisfactionGenerate leads through customer interaction (e.g., visits, calls, written correspondence)Provide technical support and information to customers whilst delivering productivity improvements through innovation and technical solutionsWork closely with Sales and Market managers to identify and develop new customers and products, increasing market share and improving profitabilityCommunicate customer pricing letters and support tender processesCapture market intelligence and competitor informationEnsure customer claims and complaints are being actioned in a timely fashionWhat are we looking for? Prior experience in B2B account management and/or a technical based roleStrong experience in the dairy industry with a good knowledge of dairy processing and CIP processes, or other F&B industries with a similar processExcellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships, negotiate and influenceCommercial acumen to truly understand the business development cycle, challenge current processes and offer insights to the product/technical management groupA tertiary qualification in a technical discipline would be advantageous, for example, Food, Engineering, Chemistry, MicrobiologyThis is your opportunity to add value and take full ownership of a portfolio within a business that will drive you to grow both personally and professionally in a supportive, flexible environment.
