Team Manager, Mental Health Services for Older People, Needs Assessment Co-ordination and Dual Disability Here is an opportunity to work in an innovative and forward thinking District Wide Mental Health Services Leadership Team at Te Whatu Ora Counties. As part of the team, this role will be responsible for three discreet speciality teams, the role works in partnership with clinical heads and other senior health professionals. Our service strives to deliver equity focused services; working closely with primary care partners, NGOs and community stakeholders to enhance mental health and wellbeing for those we serve. The Team Manager will require understanding of approaches that enhance health gains for all; skills in developing and maintaining community partnerships and regional networks is required. Commitment to the values of Counties Manukau District and to working together with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds is essential. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated people leadership skills and attributes, and good planning and operational skills. The role is based at Middlemore Hospital though is required to be at Lambie Drive some of the week, working Monday to Friday with rostered on–call duties in weekend and after hours. The successful candidate will want to lead, thrive and enjoy working in busy and challenging clinical environments. They will be part of an experienced and supportive District Wide Leadership team, reporting to the District Wide Services, Service Manager.
