Team ManagerPermanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)Primarily Monday – Friday, however the service operates 24 hours, 7 days a week on a rotating roster.Ember Korowai Takitini | Nga MataponoEmber Korowai Takitini blends professional expertise and lived experience to offer a range of services and supports for anyone with mental health, addiction or intellectual disability needs. Located within the community in Rotorua, the residence provides support for people who have complex needs beyond the normal capability of residential mental health providers. Its name means outstretched hands and it's a place where people from within the Lakes rohe can rebuild their lives and go back to the community. By utilising different skills, knowledge, and experiences (personal and professional) we offer our whai ora support to build daily routines, offering ongoing tools and encouragement to develop, grow and flourish.Role | Nga mahiThe Team Manager's role is to provide excellent leadership and management to the staff within their service. This is to ensure the delivery of quality recovery and person-centred focussed services to our guests/whai ora, as well as support the sustainability, growth and development of the service and Ember. As the Team Manager, you are to provide the environment to generate a high performing, capable, productive, and engaging team to deliver outstanding services. You are to manage the service so optimal levels of staff are available for rosters, are qualified, trained, motivated, coached and developed to perform well in their roles.You will | Nga Pukenga• Hold a current registration in either of the following fields: - Occupational Therapy - DAPAANZ - Counselling - Social Work - Nursing• Have experience in management and leadership• Hold a Full NZ Drivers License• Have a Valid/Current work visa, residency, or citizenship• Be able to encourage and role model positive behaviours, participation, and communication in all activities and in line with our values.• Have some understanding of financial management to support Ember's procedures.When applying please have | Kia Whakauru• Upload an updated CV• Provide a Cover Letter - detailing the following: - Why you're interested in the role? - What skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience do you bring to the role?"He aha te mea nui o te ao?
