Team Leader Tertiary Butchery -Evening Shift Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Te Turanga /About the Role As a Team Leader in Tertiary Butchery at our Takapau site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor by proactively supporting them to meet their daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities. This is a evening shift role and interested applicants will need to be available Monday to Friday 3pm - 12.30am approx, as well as some additional overtime in peak season. Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities: Communicate what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are specific to your team and actively observe production to ensure these are maintained at all times Train and coach members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member's work Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team Ou Pukenga /About You: The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities and experience from their time in the manufacturing, FMCG or primary industries; and be driven by building a safe, quality focused and positive culture within their team. They will be confident with identifying areas for improvement within the plant and have a desire to progress their career in the red meat industry where opportunities are endless.
