Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship – Dell Cottage Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to complete a Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship at Dell Cottage Nursery.

Our Early Years team leader or supervisor apprenticeship has been designed by sector experts to help individuals that have gained their EYE and are looking to progress into a leadership role.

Dell Cottage Day Nursery can be found on the outskirts of Dorset. We are a family-run nursery since 2006. Our vision is for each child to feel safe and happy in an environment where they can express individual characteristics and develop self-discipline and independence. We recognise that a child's journey through their early years has the opportunity to shape their future. We strive to ensure that throughout their learning journey, children are given the richest of experiences in order to create happy memories that will last a lifetime.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

The successful candidate will lead the room.

Oversee and care for children aged between 3 and 5 years.

Implement and plan the curriculum.

Take care of the day-to-day setup, opening, closing, and running the room, implementing daily activities.

Oversee the development and support the team of 5 staff.

This position is for someone who is hands-on, helping with personal care of the children and assisting at meal times.

Requirements:

You must be able to gain a clear DBS.

GCSEs A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent (i.e., functional skills).

Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role.

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week.

Dell Cottage Nursery is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday.
