IT SUPPORT SERVICES

If you are experienced working in a laboratory environment or even better, if you have worked in laboratory management or supervision, this role may be for you.

Mo te tima/About our team

We are the IT Support Services Team, on hand to provide technical and relevant support across every corner of the University – and that encompasses some of the most cutting-edge tech you'll ever see.

As the team continues to grow, we are looking for leaders with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to all shared laboratory users.

We are also one of the country's largest employers and we are here to stay.

Above all, you'll be driven to build great relationships and see successful customer outcomes every time. If your sharpest skills are your ability to keep customers happy and see problems are solved effectively and efficiently, you'll thrive.

You will manage schedules and oversee customer experiences to make sure students, staff, and other University stakeholders are empowered by their laboratory tech to succeed.

The wider team are supportive and are as eager to impart their skills as you are to learn, and if you've got ideas for innovating the way we do things, we're all ears.

Key tasks of the role include:

Delivering clear, reliable operational support and recommendations to stakeholders.

Fostering collaboration with facility users through user groups and communication channels to meet evolving needs.

Managing and enhancing Shared Laboratories services with current and prospective users.
