Advocacy for the rights of victims will always be an essential part of our work with individuals, organizations, and government agencies.About the role | Mo te tungaThis is a permanent, full-time role based in Whangarei. A Monday to Friday role, with some occasional evening and weekend work to support an awesome team of Support Workers and volunteers. In the role of Team Leader, Service Delivery you will be the face of Manaaki Tangata Victim Support in the region, responsible for healthy and productive relationships with stakeholders. You will be recruiting, leading, and supporting a team of Support Workers and volunteers, providing day-to-day direction for the team and overseeing case management. This also includes applying a focused approach to case management and ensuring the right people, resources, and relationships are in place. Organising and facilitating ongoing training, providing coaching, and mentoring to your direct reports are also key components of the role. The role will work collaboratively with the wider region and offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to make a real difference for people in Aotearoa. You will play a role in continuing to build a collaborative, constructive, and empathetic workplace culture; and lead through demonstrating our core purpose across communities.To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional interpersonal skills along with a sensitivity to the needs of victims of crime and traumatic events. We are also looking for people who can demonstrate sound judgment and an ability to problem-solve.
