As a Team Leader in Secondary Butchery at our Hawera site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor by proactively supporting them to meet their daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. Our Secondary Butchery, sometimes known in other businesses as the boning or cutting room, is where our products are broken down into cuts and packed.
With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities.

Your previous experience in coordination and organisation will be essential. This department is fast-paced in nature, so adaptability and problem-solving are important attributes to have. Additionally, you will be:
Passionate about inspiring others and providing personal and professional development opportunities to team members.
Display leadership qualities and proactively drive a strong culture that aligns with Silver Fern Farms values – Unstoppable Together, Improving Tomorrow, and Always Caring.
