Job ID: 2550 | Expertise: Production Managers and Supervisors | Location: Hawera | Employment Type: Permanent | Apply Before: 25/08/2024, 23:55PM Te Turanga| About the Role As a Team Leader in Primary Butchery at our Hawera site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor by proactively supporting them to meet their daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities. This is a night shift position so the successful candidate must be available and willing to work between 2.30pm – 12:30am as well as any Saturday overtime. Te Mahi | Key Responsibilities: Communicate what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are specific to your team and actively observe the chain to ensure these are maintained at all times Train and coach members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member's work Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team Ou Pukenga | About You: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate leadership qualities and experience, ideally from your time in the manufacturing, FMCG or primary industries; and be driven by building a safe, quality focused and positive culture within your team. You will be confident with identifying areas for improvement within the site and have a desire to progress your career in the red meat industry where opportunities are endless.
