We are proud to have the blueprint of Aotearoa New Zealand in our DNA and our 2,500 expert professionals in 35 offices are united by the common purpose of creating positive, long-lasting impacts on the communities we serve.Team Lead | Planning - TaurangaWe have a wonderful opportunity for a Planning Team Leader in Tauranga, who will provide proactive leadership and management of a successful team, driving project performance & direction and technical excellence, ensuring that our clients' requirements are a key focus of the business.You'll also provide a wide range of planning services to both existing and new clients including planning policy, preparing and reviewing district and regional plan changes, resource consent processing, assessment of environmental effects, undertaking community engagement on behalf of our clients and applications for resource consents.About you:Ideally 10-15 years' professional experience in a discipline related to planning and/or resource managementRelevant tertiary qualification in planning/resource management or related environmental disciplineFull professional membership of NZPI/Chartered Professional of EIANZLeadership experience is beneficialSound commercial acumen and financial management skillsProven track record of delivering projects to best practice standardsImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.WSP NZ has proudly earned its place among the top five employers to work for in Aotearoa New Zealand, as recognised in Randstad's latest employer survey.
