Asoon Elevator Limited offers services in elevator installation and maintenance. Due to the recent growth of our business, we need an experienced team leader to manage the Fitter-Welders team members to ensure quality and timeframe are met during the elevator installation and maintenance process.
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in leading a team for elevator installation and maintenance.
Familiar with the elevator installation process of Hitachi, KONE, Schindler, and Otis, with good knowledge of elevator installation processes.
Physically capable of handling metal parts and elevator accessories.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize work.
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead team members.
Job description:
Lead and allocate jobs to the fitter-welders team members for fitting and assembling metal parts and elevator accessories.
Study drawings and specifications of elevators, checking and classifying metal parts and elevator accessories to meet installation process requirements at each stage.
Ensure fitter-welders follow the installation manual, making samples and positioning the line transect and the pit buffer, fitting the main and auxiliary guide rail supports to the designated position according to the drawings and installation process.
Ensure elevator hall door headers and door frames are fitted and positioned properly according to the drawings and specifications.
Ensure fitter-welders classify the top, bottom, and frame of the elevator car, moving them to the corresponding position, fitting and positioning them properly according to the drawings and specifications.
Fit the Safety Gear and position it according to the drawings and specifications.
Ensure the elevator tractor and speed limiter are unpacked and moved to the installation position, fitting and positioning them properly according to the drawings and specifications.
Ensure the heavy frame is unpacked and moved to the designated position, fitting and positioning it properly according to the drawings and specifications.
Respond to problems in case of malfunction and arrange fitter-welders for operational maintenance, repairing mechanical parts of the elevator.
Term: Permanent full-time position
Wage: $30 - $35 per hour
Hours of work: 30 hours or above per week
Shift: Monday to Sunday
