The role/Te mahi We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader Network Delivery in our IT Infrastructure Network Services team. In this leadership role, you will guide a team of skilled network engineers, providing day-to-day operational support and serving as the primary escalation point for network-related issues. Your responsibilities will include managing the University's network operations, ensuring smooth functioning and support of the Business as Usual (BAU) support tickets. You will work closely with your team to maintain and enhance our enterprise, wireless, and data centre networks, ensuring they meet the needs of a modern educational institution. Key responsibilities of the role include: Leading and mentoring a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Serving as the day-to-day operational escalation point for network issues. Overseeing enterprise, wireless, data centre, and security infrastructure. Resolving BAU tickets swiftly, ensuring network reliability and security. Staying updated on technologies to enhance team performance. Your skills and experience/Ka Pukeka Me Ka Wheako Our ideal candidate: Has strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams. Has in-depth knowledge of enterprise networks infrastructure. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues. Possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Further details/Puroko This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position, located in Dunedin. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this role. The appointment range for this role is $75,380 to $84,656. Top of range $94,075 per annum.
