About the job Competitive salary and range of employee benefits; On-site role located in Whangaparaoa; Permanent, full-time (42.5 hours per week) opportunity in a hands-on, collaborative team with a Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday roster pattern. About the role Reporting directly to the Store Manager, your role as Retail Leader could include leading the hardware, Powertools, Inwards goods, Paint, Showroom, Plumbing and Trade departments OR leading External Gardens, Homewares, Lighting, Electrical and Seasonal OR could be a mixture of these. What will you bring? Ideally you would have 3+ years' experience in people management/leadership at a mid-management level, with the ability to engage your team. You are someone who leads with a hands-on approach working alongside your team. You would have a background in retail stock control and merchandising. Exposure to ESL, ticketing, logistics or customer experience beneficial. Physical fitness is key as you will be working on your feet for much of the day and some lifting of product is required. Being safety conscious and prepared to follow all H&S requirements. The ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively. Accuracy and attention to detail.
