We are seeking a dynamic team leader to lead a large team of motivated and collaborative teachers.
You need to be committed to high-quality teaching and learning, and be an ongoing learner and researcher. We highly value evidence-based practice and the science of learning. Successful applicants will have excellent curriculum knowledge, effective people management skills, and be able to develop strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, and whanau.
The applicants must have a strong foundation in teaching literacy and numeracy. You must be familiar with High Leverage Teaching Practices, Explicit Direct Instruction Pedagogy, and the Science of Learning. Candidates should have experience in teaching structured literacy and numeracy.
A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of our school is a condition of appointment.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
