You will lead a team in supporting our young people to live as independently as possible whilst also providing a safe environment where they can develop confidence, build friendships, and interact within the community.There will be a mixture of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts spanning across the week, so having the flexibility to support your team across a variety of shifts is a key part of this role.What does the role involve? - He aha te mahi a te mahiA Team Leader assists our tamariki with disabilities to live as independently as possible, as well as leading and motivating their team.Your day will involve a range of responsibilities and could include:Activities at home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful to the youth, including maximizing independence and involving WhanauHousehold duties including meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal caresWorking together with a team to implement personal support plans consistently, with effective and positive teamwork and communicationProviding people with a warm and nurturing environment to live in, which is inclusive of ideas and feedback so that each person is supported towards their personal goals.What is in it for you? - He aha kei roto mo koeAs a company, we are committed to our employees.
