Team Leader (permanent, commencing 2025) 2PMU.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with:
Forming positive, nurturing and learning-focused relationships and environments with emerging adolescents.
Leading and supporting a team of teachers to foster a collaborative, positive and empowering learning environment.
Modelling effective practices in teaching, learning and leadership within the school.
Working in collaboration with the senior leadership team to implement strategic initiatives.
Coaching and mentoring teachers in the delivery of high-quality and responsive teaching practices.
Collaborating with whanau, students and staff to improve student learning outcomes and wellbeing.
Contributing to the ongoing development of a culturally responsive curriculum that reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.
Applying the 'teaching as inquiry' process to grow your own practice and improve and accelerate learning outcomes for tamariki.
Willingness to give discretionary commitment to the school.
Commitment to upholding the vision, motto and values of our school along with enacting the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range depending on the applicant's qualifications and experiences.
