Details of the offer

If you call Queenstown home, then you already know the TSS Earnslaw and Spirit of Queenstown—the beloved "Lady of the Lake" with over 110 years of history and the modern catamaran offering scenic journeys on the lake. We're on the lookout for a dynamic leader to steer the team of Hosts on these legendary vessels.
In this leadership role, you'll be a key player in the Whakatipu Operations team, ensuring your team receives comprehensive training and the tools needed to deliver the exceptional RealNZ experiences we're famous for. Your days will be spent leading by example, showcasing top-notch food & beverage and guest service skills, upselling other RealNZ experiences, and keeping daily operations sailing smoothly.
What we're looking for:

At least 1 year of leadership experience
Strong food & beverage background (including bar and barista)
A proven track record in hosting and guest service
Duty Manager Certificate
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to lead
Maritime experience (a plus)

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact right here in Queenstown. If you're ready to take charge and help create unforgettable experiences on these iconic vessels, we'd love to chat!
What's in it for you?

Permanent full-time role
Medical insurance cover
Some amazing staff benefits including a FREE Cardrona x Treble Cone Pass, and take a friend for free with you to explore some of RealNZ's most memorable experiences - jet boating, rafting, Te Anau Glowworm Caves, Milford and Doubtful Sound and Rakiura. What an awesome opportunity to explore our back yard without spending a fortune!
