Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available in our cold smoke team as a team leader.
This leadership position oversees all operations of our cold smoke evening and night shifts. The role will primarily run Monday – Friday 2.30pm until 11.00pm although as a leader, flexibility in these hours would be required in order to work with the entire team.
The team leader position is a key role in the day-to-day running of the processing & packing activities of the RTE department. You will be a natural at building effective working relationships and engaging team members to ensure the operations run efficiently. You will also have a clear understanding of the importance of food hygiene and safety and are committed to achieving high standards of health and safety for all of our team.
The successful candidate will: Have proven people management skills
Be able to work flexible hours
Have a good attendance record & attitude
Be able to work with a sense of urgency
Have a strong H&S and food safety background
Knowledge of processes and SOP's
Be able to work efficiently on Outlook, Excel, Word and other software systems
