Phil is looking to recruit a Team Leader with experience in leading people. You must be forward-thinking and a good motivator. Phil needs someone committed to the values of inclusion and who will support him to live a fulfilled life. You should be comfortable with storytelling and be animated, as this is important to Phil and expected from the staff team daily.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the team in planning and achieving activities and outings, including holidays in Cornwall and Somerset. You will lead from the front, setting examples for the rest of the team. Responsibilities include managing rotas and timesheets, ensuring Phil has the necessary support, and overseeing the smooth running of the team.
You will need to be confident with technology, such as laptops, smartphones, Outlook, and Word. A flexible and calm approach will be an asset. You will be allocated management hours for planning, paperwork, meetings, and professional development. Effective communication with your team, Phil's family, and external professionals is essential. You should be organized and able to prioritize and manage your time well.
