Team Leader - Garden

For this position, we seek someone who will lead and guide the team with excellent relationship-building skills, experience in stock management and the sale of all garden-related products, and the ability to develop strategies and solutions that will help the team continue to thrive and grow.To be successful in this role, you require the following:Experience in a similar role in a retail and/or other fast-paced environment.At least 2 years of proven experience in managing direct reports and teams.Solid knowledge of green goods, garden hardware, and associated products.Relevant horticulture or business-related tertiary qualification would be advantageous.A high level of stock integrity awareness.Strong people influencing skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver required outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the business and work as part of a team.We are operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; you will need to be someone who has the ability to perform under pressure and promote a team culture that encourages a positive working environment.Location: Auckland Central, Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington, Auckland
