It's no surprise then that this role of a Line Leader is going to be in hot demand!About the roleThis is a full-time Team Leader - Food Production role at Fleur Foods, based in Tauriko, Bay of Plenty. In this key position, you will lead and inspire a team of food production employees to ensure the efficient and effective operations of our manufacturing facility.What you'll be doingManage and supervise a team of food production employees to meet daily production targets and quality standardsAssembling a production lines of mechanical equipment including battering, crumbing, and frying equipment.Dissembling and cleaning of all equipment used for the days productionPlan, delegate and coordinate work activities to optimise productivity and efficiencyProvide on-the-job training, coaching and support to team members to develop their skills and capabilitiesMonitor and report on team and individual performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptlyEnsure all production processes and activities adhere to relevant health, safety and environmental regulationsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutionsFoster a positive, collaborative team culture and promote a safe, inclusive work environmentWhat we're looking forProven experience in a similar team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong knowledge of food production processes, quality control and health and safety regulationsExcellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a teamAbility to think critically, solve problems and make sound decisionsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality and safety standardsProficient in using production management software and other relevant technologyWhat we offerHours of Monday - Friday 6.30am - 5pm (no weekends)Ongoing training and development opportunitiesDiscounts on our high-quality food productsSocial and team-building activitiesApply nowYour application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
