On behalf of my client, I am looking for an exceptional and experienced Team Leader or Senior level Sales Support from within the Automotive Finance and Leasing Industry to provide leadership and expertise to an established Sales Support team, ensuring that the workload is balanced, and tasks are completed to a high degree of accuracy. This is a great role for a Team Leader who has amazing communication skills, leads by example, and provides support and guidance on a daily basis.
The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring Fleet sales operations and associated processes are developed, communicated, executed, and reviewed in support of the overall success and long-term growth strategy.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Fleet Operations ensuring a framework of direction, monitoring and review, communication and collaboration, and ability to fulfil business requirements to a high standard.
In conjunction with the Head of Fleet, analyse and assess business functions, setting targets and tasks within the Fleet Sales Support team and providing subject matter expertise.
Monitor fleet department processes and workflows, reducing the friction in the sales process, allocating resources, and reviewing processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and optimum results.
Train, motivate, and lead the Sales Support staff, ensuring that they are focused on both achieving targets and meeting customer service standards.
Ensure the Sales Support team provides effective assistance to the Fleet Sales team including, but not limited to: Provision of timely quotations, customer responses and reporting, account administration, portal and driver app onboarding, updating of associated internal systems, and supporting fleet reviews/following up on maturing deals.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with the Fleet Sales Manager and other peers specifically within key internal departments i.e. Vehicle Services, Operations, and Finance. Work with these peers to refine processes and provide clarity of expectations to the team to mitigate tension within departmental relationships.
Continually improve the department's (Fleet Sales Support related activities) of the internal audit reports and facilitate the implementation of any remedial action in a timely manner.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Knowledge of motor vehicle financing products and market environment.
Strong interpersonal and motivation skills.
Presentation and public speaking skills.
Well organized with strong planning skills and the ability to prioritise.
Decision making and problem-solving skills.
Advanced computer literacy skills.
Results orientated, displaying drive, determination, and initiative.
Must be residing in NZ with Residency.
