As the leader of our water services team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our water systems, delivering exceptional service to our customers. About your new role: You will lead a dedicated team responsible for maintaining efficient 24/7 water operations, prioritizing safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your days will include providing guidance and motivation to your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. You'll assess and ensure the team has the resources and skills needed for efficient service delivery, addressing training needs as they arise. Safety is paramount, so you'll implement and maintain a strong safety culture, conducting regular assessments and promptly addressing any risks.
Engaging with customers, you'll address their concerns and ensure work is in line with agreements and standards. From coordinating schedules to managing contractors and responding to emergencies, you'll keep operations running smoothly. Additionally, you'll analyse data, prepare reports, and contribute to the ongoing development of maintenance systems, ensuring continuous improvement.
What you'll bring: Experience and skill in leading and managing staff, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. A relevant industry qualification or proven experience in the delivery of water services, with an understanding of public health practices being advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Experience with systems such as MagiQ, ArcGIS, Univerus (formerly AssetFinda), Laserfiche Forms, and Datran would be beneficial.
