TEAM LEADER – DAY SHIFT Your Impact An exciting opportunity exists for a hands-on front line Team Leader at our Christchurch CSD Manufacturing Plant. You'll make a direct contribution to our success by taking hands-on management and responsibility for the safe, efficient operation of your team and production lines, driving a high-performing and results-driven team. Initially, you'll translate the manufacturing strategy into an action-oriented, defined team plan, with clear objectives and a focused agenda to deliver. About You Your technical expertise in the Automated Beverage Industry will be an advantage in providing guidance to quickly diagnose issues, generate workable solutions, and increase operational efficiency. Previous experience managing front-line teams within a site agreement will be highly regarded. Along with an uncompromising commitment to safety and the environment, you'll maintain high standards of quality and performance within your team and build a culture of continuous improvement. With demonstrated success as a hands-on people leader within our manufacturing environment, you'll also have strengths in: Supervising and managing a front-line operational team in Production (6 permanent staff)Proactive problem-solving and streamlining and improving production processesPerformance management, discipline, and managing within the set agreementsUnderstanding H&S and Environmental systems obligationsApplication of food safety knowledge including HACCP & GMPStrong working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing programs and processesShop floor online production monitoring systemMinimum 2 years' supervisory experience in Manufacturing - preferably in a food safety environmentThis is a shift-based position working a 2-2-3 pattern (12 hours per day on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off shift pattern).
