Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We are seeking a people leader who is looking for their next exciting opportunity to join our Collections & Recoveries team.
You'll be leading a team who are responsible for collecting levy and client debt for self-employed, small to medium size business customers.
We will support you to further develop your leadership journey managing different functions in the collections team and working in projects to increase our collection rates.
Mōu | About you You will be able to hit the ground running and will have a great understanding of complexities of team dynamics.
You will also: * Experience and success in leading, motivating, and managing to deliver commercially beneficial outcomes in a debt collection environment.
* Preferably experience with best practice debt management and disciplines including key drivers and how to apply collection strategies to drive collection focused outcomes.
* Effectively build and foster positive team culture through strong coaching and team building skills.
* Use performance and reporting to effectively plan resources and workloads where multiple priorities are running consecutively.
* Have strong technical capabilities to support the team to resolve complex issues.
* Be naturally curious and use initiative to help identify and surface improvement opportunities across the team and business.
* Strong and engaging communication skills.
* Experience in performance management and having courageous conversations around performance.

The base salary range for this role is $90,039 - $120,052 with appointment depending on skills and experience with a generous 9% super contribution Please attach your CV & cover letter telling us why you would be a great fit and what strengths, you would bring to the role.
